This month's question:

What record made you want to do this?

Christian:
AC/DC "Back In Black" As a 10 year-old, I found it in my uncle's record collection (yes kids, it was records back then) and later talked my Mom into getting me a copy on cassette (more ancient technology) for Christmas.  I listened to that thing over and over until the tape broke.  It kicked my ass and scared the shit out of me...I daydreamed about scaring the shit out of people too.

I also have to add Guns N'Roses "Appetite For Destruction" It is my favorite album of all time...the fuckin' best.  When I first heard it I thought there were 3 lead singers...Axl is amazing.  "Think About You", "it's So Easy", "Brownstone"...so good.  I've gone thru so many copies of this thing...I've definitely done my part to get it up to 15X Platinum.  The songs are unreal, it's very inspiring...plus they look so badass in the pictures.  The best band ever!

August:
Guns N' Roses "Appetite For Destruction" This record changed my life.  Not only did it make me want to start drinking Jack and smoking Marlboros, but it made me want to move to Los Angeles and be in a rock band.  For me, the album captures everything that is cool about music...attitude, balls, songwriting.  It still stands as the greatest record of all time in my book.

Skyla:
Motley Crue "Shout at the Devil" I remember borrowing money from Mom to get this. Bad move on her part. I blame this record for leading me to my many arrests, drug abuse, wearing make-up and last but not least getting my ass kicked out of the house. This is the record that fucked shit up for me and I love it!

Marc:
the first album I heard that made me want to play was Billy Squire's "Don't Say No". I saw how all the girls went nuts over it & that was all it took. later on I heard & saw Motley Crue's "Too Fast For Love". Holy shit theylooked so bad ass & and I knew that was what I had to look & sound like.

Gaz:
Kiss: Destroyer...I was a huge Kiss fan and loved that album and all the others at that time. The first album that I remember listening to was Lionel Richie (shhh) but Kiss is what inspired me to become a Rock star.
